Building a Future is a philanthropic initiative by Varma, part of the company’s ESG approach, aimed at positively impacting our society.

We focus on rare diseases, placing particular emphasis on Wilson’s disease, a little-known condition that significantly impacts those who suffer from it.

What is Wilson´s Disease?

Wilson’s disease is a rare genetic disorder that affects 1 in 30,000 people and impairs the body’s ability to eliminate excess copper, which accumulates in vital organs such as the liver, brain, and eyes.

If not diagnosed in time, it can lead to severe health complications.”
